Learn How to Brew Beer with Us!

Are you one of those people that enjoy beer so much that you're considering how to brew your own at home? Well, we can help you with that! We strive on educating our customers when they're enjoying their bier in our taproom but the learning doesn't end there. Inquire with us about learning how to brew at home and you'll have the opportunity to brew your own 5 gallon (20 Liter) batch right in our brewery!

First we will have you select the beer style that you wish to brew and make sure that we have all of the ingredients on hand  in our Home Brew Supply Store to put together the recipe. We will then schedule a day where you can dedicate approximately 2.5 hours to complete the actual brew day. During this time, you will be shown all of the aspects of the brewing process and learn why they are so important. When the brew day is complete, you will then "rack" your newly brewed "Wort" into a fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast that will turn your wort into beer. At this point, you've legally produced Beer!

In approximately 3-4 weeks, you will then schedule a time to come back with us and transfer the conditioned beer into bottles to then carbonate and come together. You will also be able to create your own labels for your beer. About 2 weeks after bottling, you can begin to chill your bottles to 34 degrees and start enjoying your product!

All of the information that you learn in the process will be essential for you to then start making beer at home with your own equipment that you can purchase from our shop. As an established "Home Brewer" you can then purchase all the ingredients needed to create your own recipes. Be sure to check out and join own Local Home Brew Club - "Hub City Home brewer's" which currently meets one Wednesday night a month.

The starting cost for this amazing opportunity is $160.00 depending on what style you wish to brew - some styles can cost slightly more. Up to 4 individuals per batch session - all of which need to be at least 21 years old!
